Dudijba Ngambala means ‘We are looking for tracks’.
This painting shows a burnt part of the bush lands that now shows animal tracks. Burning the dead grass is strategic when hunting as it makes searching for animal tracks much more efficient.
The animal tracks in this painting are Wunala (Kangaroo), Kurdarrku (Brolga), Wardaba (Goanna) and Miya (Snake).
